The only museum in the United States dedicated entirely to the art form of dance, the National Museum of Dance and Hall of Fame opened in June 1987, after a short preview season the summer before. This unique and special place celebrated its thirtieth anniversary in 2017. Together with author Lisa Schlansker Kolosek, we created a rich pictorial history to commemorate this milestone. The book, divided into five sections, features numerous photographs and traces not only the museum’s remarkable evolution but the relevance of the museum to the city of Saratoga Springs, New York.
The book was given as a gift to gala attendees and has been used as a marketing tool in promoting the National Museum of Dance and Hall of Fame as well as its School of the Arts.
